Our Club location offers grand sailing in the Gulf of Mexico, with great accommodations ashore at the beautiful Pink Shell Beach Resort & Spa for Club members who’d like to spend a night or two while reveling in the joys of sailing on a mini vacation close to home.

Fees for joining the Club are based on individual, couples or family memberships. Join for a minimum of four months or a full year and share sailing with new friends or your family alone.

Club discount on Learn to Sail and Performance Courses

Learn to Sail course tuition $595 per person or Performance Sailing course tuition $695 per person – if you sign up for course and join the Club at the same time. Courses include:

• Three full days of instruction (Monday/Tuesday/Wednesday or Friday/Saturday/Sunday)
• The Colgate's Fast Track to Sailing or Performance Sailing textbook, diploma and logbook
• Colgate Day Sailing or Performance Sailing Certification

Membership Categories Individuals – joining alone Couples – two adults, or one adult and one offspring (minimum age 16) Families – two adults, two offspring or one adult and three offspring Minimum age for any category is 16. At least two adults must hold Colgate Sailing Certification at Day Sailing level. Couples and family members must all live in same household.

Membership Dues and Use Fees

Dues for Annual or Seasonal Members - $395 individual, $595 per couple or a family up to four, paid once a year prior to first annual or seasonal sail

Annual use fees - any 12 consecutive months, paid in full before first annual sail:

• Individual - $75/month
• Couples - $130/month
• Family - $60/month first adult, $50/month each additional family member

Seasonal use fees - any four consecutive months minimum, paid in full before first seasonal sail:

• Individual - $125/month, each additional month $100
• Couples - $250 month/couple, additional months $200/month/couple
• Family - $125/month first adult (skipper), $100/month/person rest of family; additional months $100/month skipper, rest of family $80/month/person

Additional Fees

Certification sailing course (if you do not already have the required certification): Learn to Sail course tuition – $595 per person; or Performance Sailing Course tuition – $695 per person

One-hour introductory sail - $50 per person (maximum four per boat) – deducted from first annual or seasonal dues when joining the club for the first time

Reciprocal privileges - Check-out fee at New Jersey and Ft. Myers Beach base - $50 per person for an individual, a couple or two family membership adults (offspring under 18, half price)

Security deposit - All club members must pay a $300 per person refundable security deposit when joining the club or renewing memberships each year
