Take the Fast Track to Cruising and you’ll be set for life – ready to take the helm on any boat up to 50’ with total confidence!

What’s more you’ll learn in an environment of support and empowerment, sharing the sailing lifestyle with active, enthusiastic women like you.

Your odyssey starts with Offshore Sailing School’s signature Learn to Sail course – three full days of comprehensive instruction all aboard a Colgate 26 while you live ashore.

Each day begins with a 90 minute seminar that puts in perspective what you’ll learn that day. Then you’re immersed in a full day sailing session each day, learning the whys (not just the hows) of comfortable sailing. On your fourth day, you’ll board a magnificent new Hunter 49’ sailing yacht and learn everything you need to know to handle the boat on your own. This Bareboat Preparation Cruising course is held in half-day sessions while you continue to stay at this fabulous resort, allowing time to explore, shop, kayak, play tennis, golf or just lounge in a private cabana. Plan to arrive Thursday and depart Friday, 8 days later.

If you have already taken our Learn to Sail course or have Basic Keelboat Certification you may take the Bareboat Cruising Course alone. Dates for this portion of the Fast Track are May 5-9, 2008 (arrive Sunday the 4th, depart Friday afternoon). Package rates are $2395 double occupancy; add $1170 for single room.

Learn to Sail, Performance Sailing, Bareboat Cruising Preparation and Power Cruising – Take Your Pick!

August 3-9, 2008

This exciting six-day event provides four levels of instruction on a fun-filled island surrounded by miles of white sandy beaches.

Monday through Thursday you’ll learn on a sailboat or power boat in half-day sessions with half a day set aside for free time to bond with new friends. Or you may choose to lie on the beach, explore, shop and take advantage of the wonderful Aquagene Spa (included in your package).

Friday you’ll excel in a free practice sail or power cruise without the instructor aboard and that night revel in personal achievements at a gala graduation dinner. Plan to arrive Sunday and depart Saturday.

If you’ve never sailed or handled a power boat before choose the Learn to Sail course taught on an exciting Colgate 26 with all the creature comforts you want in a medium sized day sailor, or the Power Cruise course taught on a Luhrs Mainship 30-II. You’ll earn Day Sailor/Basic Keelboat or Power Cruise certification and the skills to steer and crew with complete confidence. No pre-requisites required.

If you want to get into racing choose the Performance Sailing course and drive a Colgate 26 to peak performance, getting every ounce out of its superb go-fast qualities. You’re Performance Sailing certification gives you the skills to competitively helm or crew with ease. The Learn to Sail course or Basic Keelboat certification is a pre-requisite.

If you know the basics and want to sail big boats choose the Bareboat Cruising Preparation course, taught on a beautiful new Hunter 41. You’ll learn to handle and manage a cruising yacht with confidence and self-esteem, earning Basic Cruising and Bareboat Cruising Certification. The Learn to Sail course or Basic Keelboat certification is a pre-requisite.
